E108 hand taps will produce UNC (Unified Coarse) threads and are manufactured from High Speed steel for great performance and longer tool life, with a straight flute so they can be used to thread both through and blind holes. Conforming to DIN standards (the German Institute for Standardisation), these serial hand taps are the first choice for tapping aluminium and are also suitable for tapping steels, stainless steel and cast iron. They come with a bright finish to prevent work piece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool, for clean and accurate threads.
