The Backlite Base Stand is an 8' light stand. It has metal locking collars and twin leg braces for additional support. Assembled with nuts and bolts (as opposed to rivets) makes this a solid light stand that can easily be self-serviced as well as tension adjusted to the user's preferences. The mounting stud is attached with two cross pins at right angles to prevent any movement. Designed for mounting lighting close to the floor or table. Comes with 3/8" and 1/4" thread.
