Our 4" wide heavy-duty winch straps are made to last. Constructed from industrial-strength webbing with a break strength of 24,000 lbs., they have a working load limit of 6,670 lbs., 23.5% higher than our standard 4" straps! The webbing also offers superior abrasion-resistance, part of which comes from a thicker edge made from concentrated webbing. This slows down the abrasion-process (but doesn't prevent it, so you'll still need edge protection). The flat hook end fittings have a black powder coating that looks sharp and adds protection from the elements. This strap fits standard 4" winches. This 4 inch winch strap is tagged with the working load limit to meet CVSA guidelines, FMCSA and DOT regulations, and WSTDA, CHP and North American Cargo Securement standards. Flat hooks have a wide contact area to better distribute tie down force, making them a reliable choice for most loads. They also include a built-in defender to prevent webbing wear and tear. This flat hook is 1mm thicker than a typical flat hook (6 mm rather than 5mm), creating extra strength to handle even the toughest jobs.
